That said, we have the burden of regularly dealing with client finances. We often need to limit care and even euthanize patients because of money. We sometimes have to pull out Plan B, C, or D instead of practicing the way we were taught. #MoralDistress leads to guilt bleeds into shame.

And also the client emotional blackmail... "If you really loved animals, you would help my pet [for free]." "You only care about money." "You're heartless" ad infinitum.
