As of Jan. 21, Indigenous residents of #Aquila, #Michoacán, have blockaded the Ternium-Las Encinas mine to demand the appearance of human rights lawyer Ricardo Lagunes and community leader Antonio Díaz, who were disappeared on Jan. 15, and known for their work against the Ternium mine. The truck they were traveling in was found empty, riddled with bullet holes.

In solidarity, the autonomous Indigenous community of #Ostula has blockaded the Coahuyana bridge on the border of Michoacán and #Colima and family members of Ricardo Lagunes have set up an encampment in front of the state capital in #Morelia.
