Looks like I'm gonna break in my new #MoviePass membership this weekend: the #Oscar nominated shorts have arrived at Bryn Mawr Film Institute. I might try to see the Live Action shorts tomorrow night & the Animated shorts on Sunday.

It feels weird to know I'll be spending time at the theater again. I mean, I'll be N95-ing, for sure. It feels like years since I saw even a smidgen of the Oscar noms.

I snagged a spot in the MoviePass beta test for my area. Having been a member during the heydays of unlimited monthly films, then the beginning of the end when everything kind of sucked, I hope MP doesn't break my heart again.

Currently waiting for instructions on how to use the new MP, & I'm hoping Bryn Mawr Theater Institute is included as a location because I ❤️ them!!

Today's #screenwriting homework: read the screenplay for Portrait of a Lady on Fire and a New Yorker article about #CelineSciamma.

Maybe I'll go rewatch the #film later--I remember seeing it in a theater, pre-pandemic. I was just trying to figure out if it was in my last days of #MoviePass.
