So @Palegingerette and I watched the movie #Oklahoma. I’m very confused by it. What was the point of the story? There was a love story but the plot felt like it was all over the place. It had good music and dancing though!

So I watched #MoulinRouge for the first time today. I loved #StrictlyBallroom and wanted to see another of #BazLuhrmann's works. I had seen snippets of it before but I never watched it.

Wow.

Great show. I have never really seen anything else like it. It had a good story, I like the way it was shown to us. McGregor and Kidman had great chemistry together. I would definitely watch it again.

Ok so #GlassOnion was spectacular. It was a very different story than #KnivesOut, but it was still just as engaging. It was well written and well cast. Some characters stood out more than others, but up until the end of the first act I had no idea who was behind it all. It was a fun whodunnit.

Last night we watched #TheShawshankRedemption. What an interesting show! I had never heard of it before, it is a very different movie. Sometimes that is good. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman had great chemistry together. I think it is a very introspective film.

Additionally we finished #HuntForTheWilderPeople tonight. I really enjoyed it, it was fun to watch, the story was interesting and different, the humor was dry but (mostly) tasteful, and there were some good feels. Sam Neill and Julian Dennison play well off each other, they were fun to watch.

We watched #TheSnowman last night.

The main reason I love this is the song “Walking in the Air”. So ethereal and pretty.

The art is also very pretty. I’m not a huge fan of the animation, but still shots are good.

Story is cute. It was funny to take it literally because some things don’t make sense but still was cute.

We watched #Spirited! I really loved this movie. It was a little slow to get going but it hits its stride. It was funny, the music was good and I loved the theme behind it. Give it a watch!

I started #となりのトトロ (My Neighbor Totoro) in Japanese, but my girls saw me watching it and wanted to watch it so I rewatched it in English.

It is a really cute show though. My girls absolutely loved it, my oldest said she wants to go find a real Totoro. I loved how much running the girls did. They had so much energy when they were happy, it was delightful. Give this one a watch!
