"The 8th Councilmanic District of Philadelphia encompasses 7 political wards and 9 zip codes in Northwest and areas of North Philadelphia.

The neighborhoods within our district include Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, Germantown, Wister, Nicetown, Tioga, Wyoming, Wayne Junction, Olney-Oak Lane, Ogontz, and Logan.

The district is 70% Black, 15% White, 8% Hispanic, and 2% Asian.
