@luckytran well I think the #society we live in actually gets it 'right', according to its own value system, where excluding people is the norm, or encouraged. This view is of course skewed by which party is in power in your country, and how powerful the #Murdoch et al #media is. Being in #Tory #England, it is the dominant culture to believe the #rich are where they are because they deserve it & the poor/ill are where they are because they deserve it. The status quo is as things should be.

Dominion's primary duty is to their shareholders. $1.6 billion was their opening bid. They have settled in the middle. The advantage is it's money in the bag now not after many years of appeals and counter appeals or coming across the 'wrong' sort of juror or judge. Plus saves many millions in extra court costs if things went wrong.

The uncovering of those documents did far more than $1.6 billion damage to the #Murdoch reputation.

Imagine if Fox "News" had done that in 2015...

We've always known/suspected that #Fox "News" isn't a true #news or #journalism operation. #Murdoch has admitted that ugly truth: WHY does FAUX still have a seat in the #WhiteHouse press corps? It is #propaganda. It is #infotainment. It is targeted to the worst evils and beliefs of #PlantationNation as its mission. It is #PR, not journalism. It should not be considered or treated by serious entities as such. Fox should LOSE press-corps presence.

But suffusing the whole story are questions about media. “NY Post wrote this…” “talk radio said that.” All rightwing media sources, led by the Murdoch NY Post.

Wow, this #FoxNews front page story on the day #Trump announced his run for the #GOP nomination. That story was well down the stories. The report was underwhelming. Looks like Rupert #Murdoch has chosen #DeSantis as his winner for the #Republicans #primaries. Bet things are raging in #Florida

This is big news. The current WSJ editor is pretty independent. The previous editor, Gerry Baker, was a Murdoch hack who helped get Trump elected. Then Murdoch pushed him out as the heat got too high.
