- LineageOS aufspielen, ist mit mehr Arbeit verbunden, als ich dachte

@xorman thanks for the link. Wow, the documented security issues are quite severe! The documentation is from 2022, but its still a goos glimpse of „claiming to be state of the art“ while being absolutely not. 😮

Kinda habe trust issues with #murena and #eOS now 😵‍💫

If I understand it correctly eos is forked from Android 9 - however there already is a Androide 13 and Androide 14 coming pretty soon.

This feels wrong, but I have not much experience in terms of Androide security. Can someone shed any light on this?

Just getting to know about this. My refurbished and multiple repaired iphone 7 plus is dying and there are no more updates. I would love to make this huge privacy jump.

I dont understand if buying from murena will give me a shorter update support? Buying from Fairphone is guaranteeing me Update until 2031. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Ik heb Murena's e/os/ (Android AOSP zonder Google maar met micro-g en e.foundation apps) al een half jaar als daily driver op een Oneplus7 pro en dat bevalt super.

Natuurlijk moet je de-toxen van alle Google diensten, maar als je echt wil, kun je prima afkicken. Ik gebruik overigens de Proton diensten (mail, drive) ter vervanging. e.foundation (Murena) heeft die diensten nu ook.
