It is VERY surprising, in a newly completed soundproofed home studio room, how 'freeing' vocally I have become in terms of power and completely losing the subconscious holding back for fear of upsetting my neighbours.
I've only been back to my daily practice routine now for four days, but my oh my, how I can let go completely!!
I feel complete freedom to let rip with the total my lungs can produce, its invigorating!

Some podcasts I've listened to recommend #FilePass, in part because it can handle payments and release of final files for you, but I don't really need that at the moment and it's quite expensive for the hobbyist.
(A non-trivial portion of my GDrive is audio files for other people, and I'm reducing my #Google footprint.)

Both sides covered in a thin voil material so that in the event I want to change the room colours, I can just remove the top coloured fabric layer and not expose the myself to the rock wool again #clever

The R16 that I bought recently is just not quite right for me (thanks to its weird UI I ended up recording over tracks instead of starting new takes).
I'm looking forward to noodling around with the R20, it looks like I can hook up some midi drum pads or a midi keyboard as well as the using the usual XLR inputs.
