This post made me have a look at the website traffic for where I work.

We are not a news site but Twitter referral sessions in Q1 2023 are down a lot on Q1 2022 against an overall increase in our Twitter followers.

Previously - apart from an atypical pandemic-related spike in Q1 2020 - Twitter referral sessions to website were on a fairly linear growth path.
