Can anyone recommend someone to follow here on mastodon, who has a fair grip on the situation in the Ukraine?

I’m completely new to this, but it does seem very similar to the #muskiverse we all left behind

@eevee Weirdo here. Plus, I left the #Muskiverse months before he took control. I disabled/logged out of all of my socials besides for #Mastodon and the #Fediverse in August. My #MentalHealth was suffering too much, and this and #Discord were the only ones that weren't negatively impacting it.

To be fair, this is actually my third instance, but the first one where it really "stuck" for me.
I think the increased activity from first-wave #TwExodus (when I joined) really helped me get established, understand how the #fedi works, and get a feel for it. Hating #MuskiVerse and #FailBook with a passion also helped me stick with it.

First day on the 'don... a few teething troubles, some slowness, but overall a positive alternative to the #Muskiverse. It's nice here, I think I'll stay and toot [guffaw, chortle, fnarr]

Hat mich ganz schön Überwindung gekostet, mich noch mal im #Muskiverse anzumelden.

Aber die paar Minuten haben mir wieder sehr deutlich gezeigt, warum ich mich hier wohler fühle!
