My dad is over 60 and accordingly did not grow up with the digital world. When he has to send an e-mail with an attachment, he first sends it to me as a test run and calls me to see if everything has been delivered. 😅 📬

I'm pretty proud of him, how he manages it all!

Btw.: He only uses his smartphone because he doesn't get along with computers.

Remeber #MyDad? 70 year old who switched to #Debian11 #gnulinux in September this year?
We had a couple od #teamviewer sessions, where I tweaked #libreoffice a little bit for him and showed him, how to use his Home directory as a base where he stores everything, setup #hdmi output to his TV. Really like 5min tasks.
Today he wrote to me that he got used to the #Gnome interface, knows how to find apps to install over #GnomeSoftware and all in all will not returning to #Windows.

So +1 #TeamFOSS.
