After watching #MyDeadBody and in the knowledge that neither of us qualify as organ donors both me and hub have decided to fill in the paperwork to donate our bodies to medical schools after death.
He has #CRPS which is largely under-researched and wants people to know more about. I have cluster migraines and odd reoccurring cancerous cells. Both of us would be good to learn from.
Something good has to come from our final acts in life whenever they might be.
Just caught up with #MyDeadBody (a live autopsy on an amazing body donor who suffered from a rare cancer which started in her lachrymal gland) on @All4 & I urge you to too. Remarkable story; unique, vital medical and emotional insight. Total respect shown for the whole of the legend that is #ToniCrews. Enormous thanks to her family & medical teams. Your own lachrymal glands will be needed.
Has anybody watched #MyDeadBody on C4? Such a moving docu. Tragic but uplifting. Bless her heart. #tonicrews #RIP

Watching #MyDeadBody
Itβs a hard watch. Sad. Fascinating. Learning about the life as well as the death of Toni is a privilege.
Thank you Toni.
An extraordinary privilege for us. Deepest thanks to Toni's family and all the medics involved. Her memory is a blessing and a lesson like no other. #MyDeadBody
