Having now seen both Don’t Worry Darling and #MyPoliceman I can report back with confidence that #HarryStyles can neither convincingly portray a straight man nor convincingly portray a gay man. For Darling, it doesn’t matter; it’s a middling episode of The Twilight Zone. But it really hurts Policeman, which otherwise would be an excellent chamber piece. David Dawson’s acting is Homeric considering he must share his screen time w/ a black hole of thespian talent. #film #movies #acting

Giving #MyPoliceman a go

Just watched My Policeman #film. That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. Don't bother. Seriously, ignore all the 5 star reviews because they're just fans who love Harry Styles. An interesting storyline, but marred by terrible directing and hopeless script. Even the costumes looked wrong, like they'd just been taken off the wardrobe department's rail. One star, maybe two at a push.

I just watched #MyPoliceman , a great movie. Sad, very sad story. I hope those times when homosexuality was a crime are now history. Unfortunately it is not true all over the globe.

I watched #MyPoliceman last night and despite my hating on #Amazon it was an excellent #film

#HarryStyles turned in an excellent performance as Tom, both courting symoathy and affection, for the character and latterly resentment and anger at his behaviour.

The outcome was always being steered towards, and older Tom was uncomfortable watching as he realised what he had missed.

Well worth two hours of your time. 5/5

Appena visto #mypoliceman e, da gay, devo dire che mi è piaciuto; #HarryStyles, nonostante le critiche non eccezionali, l'ho trovato credibile nella parte. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto è la parte finale del film: imho affrettata e superficiale a tratti.

Nice enough film, Styles is fine in it.
It was an incredibly lonely film and the ending had me in tears. 💔

After watching the first 41 minutes of #MyPoliceman I just hope Harry Styles doesn't quit his career in music.

I just have one thing to say about the movie and you'll get it immediately: it's FOR FREE in Amazon Prime Video.
