I didn't see Mercedes being the first German automaker to adopt #NACS in the US, but good on them. Will BMW be next? With the first major German manufacturer switching, it really ramps up the pressure on the remaining hold outs. At this rate I think VW may switch before Hyundai because of the concerns with higher voltage charging, though it seems like that will be easy to work out. #Tesla #Mercedes #EVs #ElectricVehicles

NACS (the Tesla charging connector) is only about 1.5" wide. Spatially speaking, there's no reason ebikes couldn't fit in a NACS port right?

Honestly the #NACS announcement kinda kills my interest in electric cars for a while. I thought they had the charging situation largely figured out aside from Tesla being stubborn, but if they still can't make up their minds I'll just hold off until they're for sure settled on a standard.

This isn’t a surprising move after Ford and GM did it, but I’m actually very happy to see this as a soon to be #Rivian owner. This will make our road trips so much easier and pain free. I can’t wait to get our #R1S up into the mountains in Vermont and to National Parks across the East Coast. #NACS is the future so let’s get everyone on board. #tesla #evs
