Il y a un vendeur de PC rétro au marché aux puces de St-Michel, qui déménagera de Montréal dans quelques mois !

Ils cherchent à vendre tout leur stock avant de déménager. J'ai écrit un petit article (en anglais) sur certains des articles intéressants que j'ai vus à leur stand. Il est possible qu'ils fassent de l'expédition, mais je ne peux pas parler pour eux.

There is a retro PC seller at the St-Michel Flea Market, that is moving out of Montreal in a few months!

They are looking to sell off all of their inventory before moving, I wrote a short blog post on some of the interesting items I saw at their stand. There could be a chance they do shipping but I can't speak for them.

We spoke to fellow industry experts, public sector representatives, and existing & potential clients on our stand, all while raising awareness of our services.

On the second day, our Managing Director Morton Bell gave a CPD recognised session on security in layers and the CIA triad to a full crowd.

Well, this is going to be interesting. A new toy arrived today. NEC PC-2001 'handheld' computer - bigger than the 'pokecon' calculators.

It was listed as 'junk / non-working'.

It works. Now to clean it up and figure it out! I'm familiar with the NEC PC-8201 series so this should be similar(?) How hard can it be!! :D

First step: Learn Japanese. The manual isn't available in English. I tried a google translate of the PDF and it churned out gems like:
- It is a hunty-type computer. Key features of wood machines include: Sea urchin. 1 We recommend that you be stunned.
- Please do not disassemble this machine because it will become a prisoner of the accident.
- Do not throw Tsushikawazumi's pond into fire. (There is a risk of bending over)
- [3] Make sure that one of the connected devices is ON, and then turn on the PC2001's

The #HudsonSoft games based on #Nintendo properties are interesting. This has a neat idea, but it's let down by hardware limitations.

There is an awesome Super Mario Bros. Bros. #romhack for Super Mario Special. It would be neat if a fan-made ROM hack was made for this one too because it has the potential to be a good game on capable hardware.
