Melanie Stansbury worked very hard to win this race.

The campaign organizers had many, many volunteers who made thousands of calls and sent thousands of hand-written postcards. It's really important to get involved in get out the vote work.

Republicans had hoped to reduce the Dem margin to the single digits and massively failed. Biden won the state by 23 points but Stansbury's lead is around 30 points and higher than Deb Haaland's was. While small in national prominence, this does not bode well for the America Last party. :voteblue:

All elections matter and high turnout builds support and enthusiasm for our candidates and sends a message to Republicans that we aren't letting them walk over us.

With that in mind, if you live in New Mexico's 1st Congressional district, make sure you vote by 7PM today in your special election to fill a U.S. House seat. The 1st district is located in the north-central portion of the state and includes all of Torrance and parts of Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Valencia counties.

Deb Haaland, who held this seat, is now our Secretary of the Interior and we need to make sure Democratic nominee Melanie Stansbury fills it. Turnout needs to be high.

Remind friends and family in the area and vote. :vote: :nm:
