If you live in New Mexico you can have your pick of weather by simply driving a little bit thanks to the mountain ranges in the middle of the state.

The 1 hour drive from Santa Fe to Las Vegas will get you a temp swing from the low 50s into the mid-low teens. You can go from near 70 in southern New Mexico into the teens in just a couple of hours too.

Supercell thunderstorm in the end stages of life — after a major occlusion of the mesocyclone cut off the inflow to the small wall cloud left of the road.
