I was going to put on beef short ribs at about 11am. Given that I woke at 12, that didn't happen. I'm living dangerously and sending it hot. No photos, I had to get it in the BBQ!

I commissioned a frivolous corten steel thing to hang in my area.

Sorry @pepperraccoon we had to slightly butcher your design to make this work in steel. It will weather to a rusty patina pretty quickly and then darken over a year or so.

Grilling a whole chook on the Weber tonight, using Rum and Cue ‘Soft Coq’ meat rub. Reversing the charcoal basket to prevent the direct heat burning up the skin (works wonders, no more black birds). Chunk of Cherry Wood to add a bit of smoke to the cook
