21. Favorite licensed RPG
pff that's a bit hard. I would like to say Star Trek Adventures, which I do like but I've also been told about some bad practices regarding staff on the part of the publisher, and haven't researched fully so I'm reserving any strong endorsement for a while
#Nahual, tho, would be a close second. It is based on Operación Bolivar, a 90s Mexican graphic novel
Both are 100% worth checking
The game is pretty clean, a bit chonky but clean and evocative
Had a go at explaining #Nahual to one of my grappling pals. He was vaguely familiar with DnD, so I said "start there, but instead of Tolkien fantasy your a bunch of broke chefs in Mexico killing Catholic-ish angels and cooking them into tacos."
"Oh, so it's a revenge story!" He responded.
And you know what that's definitely one of the big feelings in there.
