This small concrete structure in #Nanjing, #China had 4 apartments inside including my wife’s family’s 1 room apartment. There was a common outdoor kitchen that the 3 other families shared and there was no plumbing, heat or AC at all.

I'm cheating a little here. These bands were local Nanjing punk/rock bands during my time there, at the center of a strong Nanjing punk / rock scene that I suspect has since died out. Bigger cities likely still have a lot of good local punk.
