Total #BS from that #Tory - and frankly the few who left rather than pay taxes would be no loss - the space they occupy here - social, housing, road space, seats at the opera and the rest - would be occupied by others.

Providing a happy playground for the #globalRich is not my idea of a #nationalIdentity for the #UK

interesting Social Cohesion Report from the Scanlon Institute.

- Social cohesion increased during first couple of years of pandemic but is now declining.

- Population-wide support for multiculturalism is high and growing.

- Sense of belonging and connectedness in our neighbourhoods has increased since the pandemic but our sense of pride, belonging and justice as a nation are now at their lowest since 2007.

On this last point I wonder if it's to do with the accessibability of infrastructure to contribute and influence at a national level (as we talk about in our public good work - www.australiaremade.org/public-good and on our latest episode of The reMAKERS www.austaliaremade.org/podcast).
