Bvlbancha Collective on Instagram: "The intertribal community of Bvlbancha, including Bvlbancha Collective and @hummingbirdsprings_farm, immediately and completely denounces, and hereby cuts all ties with, Jordan Menard/Jordan Patrick-Eddy Menard. We are taking this step after taking our concerns directly to Jordan to engage in restorative and transformative justice processes. These attempts failed due to his deflection and lack of follow through on commitments he made. It is only after we attempted to engage him in these processes that as a whole community we began to realize the depth of his deception and the harm he caused. We are still discovering ways in which he has harmed us individually and collectively. As a community, we have barely begun uncovering the truth from a tangle of lies, manipulation, division-sowing, theft, sexual predation, financial abuse, targeting of women, girls, femmes and two spirits, and spiritual abuse, all coming from him. The healing process from the harm he has caused will take time. However, it is remarkably clear to us that his problematic behavior follows a repeated and predatory pattern without accountability. We plan to release a more extensive statement in the future. In the meantime, we caution all other communities to not give Jordan Menard a place or a platform. In no uncertain terms is he to be trusted, most especially with spiritual matters or community safety. We also do not support any attempt by him to conduct ceremony, be in a position of spiritual leadership, and/or start a spiritual community."

Today I got confirmation that an amazing Indigenous project I'm helping with got accepted for funding!

Tomorrow I give my speech for the opening plenary of the American Studies Association, and help host an intertribal gathering between OK and LA native communities
