Apart from visiting #Nazare for the insane surf, another good reason to visit #Portugal would be the ancient forest of Madeira.

The 47-year-old Brazilian surfer wiped out at Praia do Norte and suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest. It's the first surf-related death in the waves of Nazaré.

Mi ricordo che quando uscii di casa a #Nazarè vidi l'#oceano dall'alto, il cielo si stava imbrunendo e quella sera, al ristorante di Maria, capii che molta gente avrebbe finito la propria vita proprio in quel posto. Immersi in routine fatte di parentesi di #felicità. Era una routine cantare, fare cose che rendessero felici e per un istante mi persi in quel mondo. Vi sentite mai #fuori dal #mondo ? Come se la #vita non vi appartenesse e voi foste altro? Ecco, io ero in quella situazione.
