Necron Deathmark.
I wanted to represent them stepping through from the hidden dimension.
For the portal I used some clear plastic, cut into a wibbly shape, so that it is visible but not (like a heat haze).
I also painted half of the mini' dark and half "in light", again, to represent stepping from the hidden dimension. The cut-off matches the position of the "portal".

Managed to get a pickup game of #Warhammer #40k, much to my surprise. It was a hard-fought battle, and there's so many things for me to remember. But, in the end of the battle between #Necron vs #Tyranids, it was a tie game!
I realize we were light on the terrain, but there was another table being used that took most of the good stuff. 😅
I had so much fun ☺️

For my third mini, I wanted to put more effort into it, my heart was set on this specific mini. Unfortunately, I really disliked the quality of this mini and it soured me on all the Finecast quality minis in the future.
Also, I used my DSLR and tried my hand at "Focus Stacking".
Technically, this was my "first" mini I had completed, though not the first I had started.

Another WIP for the xenarite Dominus, a Necron head converted into a servo skull! I might've exhausted my lexicon of explicatives trying to put this little bastard together. (For reference, I used to work with sailors.)
