Just remembering how cool it was that I got to watch #anime on my PBS affiliate. #KTEH out of #SanJose was the place where #NeonGenesisEvangelion debuted in the US as well as #SerialExperimentsLain

I was so sad when they stopped showing anime. They were really going for the edgy stuff at the time. I remember looking forward to Sunday night even though it meant school the next morning. At least I'd be able to watch #Robotech and #TenchiMuyo!

Many years ago, I noticed that Dr. Who wasn’t just a tv show, it was a whole THING. So I asked a friend who was a big fan to give me a Dr. Who mix-tape: 10 episodes I should watch to see if I could get into the series. It worked and did turn me into a (albeit casual) fan!

I’m here with a similar ask… how would I begin to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion?

Finally watched the last (I presume) NGE movie (3.0 + 1.0). I must say, that actually wrapped up in a less insane way than I anticipated.

I mean, the whole movie was batshit but at least they sort of explained all their thinking and brought things to some kind of closure this time. #Anime #NeonGenesisEvangelion

I finished up #NeonGenesisEvangelion. What a show. It definitely is a mind trip, trying to show you what the characters are thinking and feeling as well as telling this great story. I haven’t yet seen anything more than the original series but I will watch the additional stuff soon.

If you are a big fan of #anime you should definitely give this one a watch.

I have been abandoning my previous plan to watch an even and consistent program of different TV shows.

I started binging #NeonGenesisEvangelion. I am loving it so far.
