Maybe I'm missing something... the #Azure #NetApp Files pricing seems to be a little odd - at least what is returned by the #Azure Retail Pricing API.
Reservation prices show an increase of ~30% but pay-as-you-go prices have remained the same. If that was accurate, one would now pay more with a reservation... 🤷

Unpopular opinion: I have been questioning the decision to move to cloud for products that are storage intensive. Maybe I am biased coming from #NetApp but feel it is cheaper to pay upfront and benefit from depreciation than recurring payments when you know you have to hold on to data for the life of your service.

For cheap archival storage, DAT tapes might give you the best density.
