Ho un vecchio #netbook lenovo (miix 320... 'na carretta insomma) che ovviamente con winzozz era diventato un pachiderma inusabile.
Siccome mi piace giocare con le distro, ci ho installato un #linux mint e ora se la cava abbastanza bene MA
Siccome davvero con 'sto netbook non ci faccio nulla, mi piacerebbe usarlo per sperimentare, quindi: avete suggerimenti di qualche distro particolarmente leggera o divertente?

So this computer will become a #retro machine with a mail client and #libreoffice installed.
For FreeDOS, Soundblaster emulation should work from all I know. But is there a way to get #joystick support for 'DOS games? Are #VESA aka. #SuperVGA modes available? Did anyone try?

Got myself an EEEpc 701. The OG #netbook. A bit long in the tooth for 2023 but with a lightweight Linux it's still got some moves.

I first had an Asus EEEPC, then an Acer Aspire One, and finally a Samsung NC10 (on which I ran Linux Mint).
Now, the closest I have is a Surface Go, which is really rather impressive running Debian.
Are there any good, Linux-friendly, netbooks available today? What do you recommend?

Even though the authors are basing their works on #ComicBooks it's generic and can be used with any #TabletopRPG and even help with writing #fiction.

Buenos días, Mastodon. Hoy quiero hablaros de un miniproyecto que me ha surgido entre manos.
Tengo una amiga a la que, hace unos meses, le robaron el notebook que tenía. Como no tenía herramienta para poder hacer simples tareas de ofimática, un amigo le dio este pequeño netbook viejo que tenía por ahí olvidado.
