I'm still processing lots of feelings about this, so all you online strangers get to hear about it, too. Maybe more than just this one toot, but here's what I got for now:
I am so proud of this kid and where they are going with their life. I am the happiest dad in the world that they chose to be born to us. And so many things that I saw all these years, and no one else seemed to see, make sense to all of us now. Just like my life makes more sense now.
And schools suck.
We need to do better by our neurofabulous kids, all of us.
