Thinking that day one of #Neurolink would result in a breach and mass Rick Rolls projected into people's minds would be the least bad outcome of that.

@sam From the jump, I think you may not understand my perspective of #ElonMusk: I completely accept that he's a hype man, in fact early on in this whole #Twitter saga I stated that his hobby is buying companies and inflating their value.

(Also in my response here I'm going to largely ignore #Vaush' "he's a bad person because I disagree with his politics, neo Nazi!" statements because it'd probably be better for us to agree to disagree on that point, I don't know how constructive arguing on that point is.)

#Vaush complains that "he is meaningfully detracting from the investment in public infrastructure". I'm not sure how true that is, but I don't mind that so long as he does a better job than the public sector at building infrastructure.

On #Neurolink, I actually think it's terrible technology. Interesting for science purposes, but I can't think of any use cases for it being gross abuse and misuse. #Vaush actually does a good job of explaining my disdain for this at 3:17; his tech is really cool, but it's important to remember that the coolest tech tends to be the most dangerous. If I wasn't a techie, I actually don't think I'd like #ElonMusk very much. However, when he says "what if everyone lived in their cars", I don't think it's a bad idea to create technology that empowers people to do so, #TimPool for example go himself an RV he can live in. It isn't good to promote this as a good, normal, daily lifestyle though.

Also, arguing that working off loans is indentured servitude is a bit of a brain dead take on #Vaush's part, it's no different than working off college debt.

For a ten minute video, I feel like there should be more to critique here, but yes like you said much of this video is hyperbole
