The thing I'm really digging about being here is that it feels like the early days of Twitter. When it was fun, everyone was finding their voice, everything wasn't about us vs.them and it was free from hate spreading bots.

I first found out about Mastodon from reading “How to Do Nothing,” by Jenny Odell. She talked about some of the decentralized social media platforms available.
I have hope in the possibility for what Mastodon and the various servers could do for social media moving forward. May we all use this opportunity for the greater good.
