Is #China the greatest threat to the world's #climate, or isn't it? The three top emitters of #CO2 (as of 2019) are China, the #US, and #India, with China emitting nearly twice the CO2 as the US, and the US emitting twice the CO2 of India.
If you look at total (cumulative) CO2 emissions between 1750 and 2019, then the leader is #Europe with the US close behind, and China is in 3rd place (about half the emissions of Europe or the US), with India in 4th place (less than one quarter of China's total CO2 output).
When you look at the data per capita (per person of the population), it tells a different (and not too meaningful) story - #Qatar, #Curacao and #NewCaledonia lead the list, the US is 14th, #Germany 38th, China 48th, and India 128th on the list.

La lisière est sensible aux #incendies alors que la #forêt de cœur elle ne brûle pas ! (Sauf en cas de sécheresse grave et prolongée)
Vous la voyez venir la boucle de rétroaction? :
+de feux = fragmentation = plus de lisières = plus de feux… etc..
Avec le changement climatique et la connerie humaine (il n’y a pas de feux “naturels” en #NewCaledonia ), il est prévu une accélération du processus. Les modèles prévoient un FACTEUR 10 d’augmentation.
