Errors do happen and when the copperplates for the town images of #Wismar and #Rostock in "Civitates Orbis Terrarum"  G. Bruin, F. Hogenbergius, etc. (Köln 1577-1588) were done, someone apparently mixed up the notes:

The mighty medieval churches of Rostock to the left got described as those of "Wismaria", whereas the great churches, walls and houses of Wismar to the right were labeled "Rostochium".

Things are coming along for my AllThingsTech.social Mastodon instance.

I have the Mastodon instance itself setup, I have the basic rules of the server in place(more detailed rules will be on the site soon), I have the privacy policy on both the instance and the site, and I feel I have all of the settings correct.

It might just about be time to see if anyone is interested in joining a safe instance to call home!

I've been working on getting my own Mastodon instance setup the last 2 days now and I have come to realize, there's a TON of things an admin has to do to get ready to launch the public.

It's fun and exciting. I just had no idea there was this much that went into it.

For those that are asking, yes, this is a public instance I'm working on setting up that isn't just a single user instance.

Are those a collection of bot's not marked as bot's? Did not find any verified account there.
