There's a life force within each of us that powers this flesh, but the body represents merely an instrument for the soul's growth and learning. Perhaps the most overlooked aspect of Christ's teachings are those that discuss the acquisition of knowledge. Knowledge is key for continuance to higher spheres in the eternities. The knowledge we gain in this life will rise with us in the next.

*A #denomination in their estimation is anything that is not #churchofchrist, the "one, true" #newtestament church in Acts 2 - these other people, though well-meaning, will go to hell, they say. They have a saying about people "sincerely believing but being sincerely wrong" that they think is beyond clever that is often stated as a reflex to the word or concept of "denomination."

Hearing people complain about the folks in #TheChosen being white is kinda funny to me because for the most part they're middle-eastern, and the events in the #NewTestament took place in the middle-east.
