Yesterday we went to the heart of Boston, the public market and harbor walk next to the greenway. It was 50 and rainy like an April day at Fenway Park. Not that many people out for a New Year’s Eve, maybe they were all down at Copley until later. Some sad ice sculptures, half-melted in the drizzle and warmth, put up a good fight. Then we went to dinner in Newton and it seemed equally quiet; did everyone go away for the week? Made it to midnight! #HNY

I kinda(?) miss this anarchy. It was so chaotic, people would launch firecrackers even in small streets, our house would always be filled with smoke from all the firecrackers. Sa balita, daan/libo 'yung mga biktima ng paputok. My father would also light up fountains/sparklers then throw it on the roof of our house, other neighbors also did the same. Kids would randomly throw Pop Pop or those snappers that could really surprise or shock you. (1/2)
