Am I reading things correctly in understanding that #Newfoundland simply does not charge a school tax to properly owners?

It’s been a year and $11m in tax revenue since #Newfoundland implemented the sugar tax and I would bet money consumption has not gone down.

The idea was always dumb, the actual implementation was even worse, and the data collection appears to be non-existent.

What a fucking joke.

While I’m on board with the plan to replace the RCMP with the RNC in a larger chunk of the west coast of the island…

Studded tires have to be off by Monday in #Newfoundland. Switched mine today on the #Kia. Third season on these Continental Ice Contact XTRM, using the tri-star studs. Holding up great, though I don't think I will go studs again, living in town now.

I have cheap alloys for the winter as they don't rust and don't buildup salt/sand inside the rims like steelies do. The steel rims came with the car, cheap AS tires but lots of tread so running them out. Kinda backwards, I know.
