The Belarusian court sentenced the former editor-in-chief of the opposition #Telegram channel #Nexta, Roman #Protasevich, to eight years in prison.

The prosecutor's office demanded ten years of imprisonment for Protasevich. He was found guilty of "conspiracy to kidnap authorities".

Two more participants in the Nexta case — Yan Rudyk and Stepan Putila — were sentenced in absentia to 19 and 20 years in prison, respectively. Now they are abroad. #belarus

The world should forget the case of Raman Pratasevich and the forced landing of an entire airplane by the illegitimate Lukashenka regime.

So the same argument started on the #Nexta Telegram Channel about the issue of not respecting someone's #gender. And it is turning into something nasty now. What surprises me is the fact that the Nexta Admin does not pay attention to the complaints or even respond to it. This is sad as Nexta has been a very reliable source for correct information so far. BUT if I have to also leave the channel because of something like this I will as I do not agree with what you are doing here.
