I feel like, being the sweary of the family, it's a rite of passage for me to stop calling someone pet names and switch to calling them "fucker" when they're being smart asses.

never married, never bred. I've got 4 lovely siblings, mom faced judgement at the turn of the century , dad's 80+, x 7. I met some blood family a dozen or so years ago, 3 and 4 more niblings, viz. a of 11, who are beginning to marry off.

Just sent my niblings texts telling them to tell me what they want for Hanukkah/Solstice/Xmas since I'm leaving the country for most of December. Weirdly, it was Anne Helen Peterson's newsletter about holiday sprawl that reminded me to ask them this on Nov. 6.
