Welp, tonight was productive as I got the Black Coach roughly 95% done. At this point only finishing touches and basing remain.

A truly beautiful sculpt (as all nighthaunts are), but this one has taken quite a while and I'll be glad to soon be moving on to something new.

The local shop was packed full with tournaments and new release events, so today was a painting social at a friends place.

In addition to assembling a new Tabletop Stronghold case, I was able to get both Lady Olynder and the Krulghast Cruciator table ready. 😃

Also made progress on five more Bladegheist Revenants, but those are too early on to warrant showing off.

Started painting Lady Olynder now that I'm finally starting to get some games in. (And I'll likely need to bring the best I can to compete against our locals ☠️)

Started the night with her only being primed white, and made it to the photo in terms of base coating.

Pretty happy so far, but still a bit anxious if I can do such a beautiful model proper justice.

The product of the last week's work! I'm now up to 20x battle ready Chainrasps, sans basing. Still got a lot to go, but it's progress nonetheless so I'm happy. This puts me at 830 / 2000 pts of ghosties painted!

This next week's goal is to finish the mounted knight of shrouds and my Craventhrone guard, then I'll probably move along to grimghasts.

Had a fantastic night hanging out with peeps and painting at the LGS. In between drybrushing more Bladegheists, I decided to treat myself and put a little bit of love into the Knight of Shrouds on Ethereal Steed.

This weekend's project has been trying to make progress on the Bladegheist Revenants. Need to focus and keep that momentum up despite my brain trying to steer me into other rando projects!

Base coating is done on these boys, just needing to wash the metallics, drybrush the arms and ectoplasm, and then texture the bases.

I improvised a little dungeon crawl in the mirrored city of #Shadespire using some of the rules from #ForbiddenPsalm: "Dungeons & Death" with 2 of the #IronskullsBoyz #orruks.
They met a mad wizard who gave them a scroll that they can't read and fought #Nighthaunts over some armor that seems to be the "treasure" they were sent to retrieve.
Basha met a friendly Blood Rage Vampire who gifted him the "What we do in the shadows" feat. So he is now some kind vampire orc...
Also: 5 XP.

More progress! After this, the only thing missing on these peeps is base texture and some final effect drybrushing. (On both the basing and the ghosts themselves)

Feeling very happy with how good these look considering how quick they were to paint. Going to continue trying to use contrast (+ drybrushing) for everything non-metallic in this army.

- (option 1) go buy the half dozen #GamesWorkshop official paints mentioned in tutorials
- (option 2) use one brown, one red ochre and one orange.
(same options with the metallic paints and optionnal washes that come after)
