Happy to confirm that they do indeed ramp up the charge for my #NissanLeaf as the second vehicle decreases and eventually disconnects.

Was a bit worried that the famously flat LEAF charging curve wouldn't adapt to changing available power.

It usually sets a fixed current and slowly raises the voltage, then lowers the current once it reaches its target voltage. Native but effective.

Had one of those rare moments today: taking our 2020 #NissanLeaf #EV for routine maintenance (tire rotation and battery check).

Apparently after 2 years and ~27,500 miles the battery capacity is effectively still at 100%.

Maybe another couple of years - or more - before the first brake job? How long will this car last?
And wait…do I hear tiny violins playing for the oil drillers and refiners? So sad.

I get asked the cost of miles for my #electriccar #EV. My return drive to work in my #NissanLeaf was 16.2 miles. My #podpoint charger on my house comes with an app where you add your electric tariff cost. So far seems cheaper than petrol! #zeroemissions #electricvehicle

And for todays fun… Sat in the Nissan Leaf, pressed the start button and the display shows the image to put my foot on the brake pedal first - but my foot was already on it! Absolutely no resistance on the pedal though, very strange.
Lots of googling gave fears of expensive mechanics bills right down to the simple 12v battery needs replacing. So pleased it was the latter - phew! #NissanLeaf #ev
