@maloki @aendra I did this too a while back, thinking I would get a torrent of follow requests, but surprisingly I haven’t had a single one! I figured if bots did start to follow, I would report them and deal with them at the instance level! #NoBotsChallenge

The #NoBotsChallenge is to take #NoBots out of your profile and push back, and report these invasive #bots

So I’ve had #NoBots in my bio for so long, because when I joined, there were weird follow bots you had to opt out of.

There was also a super annoying #privacytools bot that would reply any time you posted a link that was behind cloudflare

What the recent #leakix controversy has shown is that we should absolutely Push Back against these services requiring us to personally opt out.
