Today's bake: no-knead cheese baps.
Very moreish but I will freeze six of them anyway. (I inhaled two when they were still warm, not even bothering to put anything on them.)
340g water
12g fresh yeast
500g strong white bread flour
10g salt
100g grated Cheddar cheese, plus 100g for the topping
1 beaten egg for egg wash

One sourdough bread, and one yeast dough bread sprinkled with sesame seeds. Fresh out of the oven, still crackling as they cool. Both are good, but the sourdough loaf just smells soo good and has so much flavour. 🤤

I finally made #bread last weekend for the first time in a couple of months. I use a recipe that calls for a double batch, but freeze the second loaf after bulk rise and shape because we can't eat that much at once. I never have a plan for how to thaw and proof the frozen dough. I took this out of the oven about 3 or 4 hours before I put it in the oven and was convinced it wouldn't come out, but happily it did!

#Brot ohne Kneten oder #NoKneadBread ist außen herrlich knusprig und innen wunderbar saftig. Du brauchst nur 5 Zutaten, einen ofenfesten Topf, bzw. eine ofenfeste Form und etwas Zeit (der Teig muss 18 Stunden gehen)
Dieses Brot ist auch für Anfänger absolut leicht nachzubacken.
