Whelp... something wasn't playing nice with the #NobaraProject install. It kept crashing and when I tried to report errors, the error reporting would crash.
Since nothing was really set up, I'm going to give #endeavour_os a try and see if I can get some #linuxGaming done that way instead

We’re making progress!
My bios kept defaulting to the windows install on my nvme drive, but I figured out how to get it to go to grub first so I can get into #NobaraProject first
Now to do a ton of updates and start installing some games
Hopefully GOG works this time so I can play some #DiscoElysium
So throwing in a spare ssd turned my life into that scene from Malcom in the Middle where the dad wants to change a lightbulb and has to do 10384820 other things before he can…
I opened my case and saw how dirty it was because of the recent foundation work to my house, so I had to do a full cleaning
Then I realized I had no more sata power leads so I had to go find the extra cables
Then I had to remove the gpu because the only open sata header was under the gpu, so I needed to go find a screwdriver
Then I had to go rearrange the garage to get to the screwdriver since all our plants are in there to protect them from the freezing weather
But I finally got the hard drive in and I guess we’ll see what this #NobaraProject is about

A quick review of the Nobara project.
A fedora based Linux project, with user-friendly improvements and gaming in mind.

I've spent a week or so now settling into #ubuntu and I'm actually enjoying it now that I've got most things figured out. Getting the trackpad to work was... Exciting. But now I've seen #NobaraProject and well shit if that doesn't look just a little fancy 🤔
I must say, #NobaraProject is great.
I've always been quite reticent about using Fedora, but #Nobara just makes it easy.
Highly recommend, especially if you're a gamer.

I would recommend #linuxmint, #fedora or #NobaraProject, #opensusetumbleweed, or some #arch spin like #endevousOS.

Now that I've settled in to using Nobara for a few weeks and tested that everything works, it's time to get real down and dirty with enhancing it. Yes, even further than the customizations it already has! :ablobcatrainbow:

Ok so just an introduction to myself; I'm a #python #webdeveloper and I do that for a living. I'm also interested in #harrypotter stuff, in #videogames and at the moment I'm taking #singing lessons, since I play a bit of other instruments I wanted to start singing as well, I've never done it before.
I normally use #macos for work since I have a company laptop, but I also #playonlinux with #NobaraProject and I find it really awesome; I think this is the future of gaming.
