Almost 30 years ago, in war-torn #Bosnia of #1993, a beauty pageant was held in the besieged city of #Sarajevo. #Inela #Nogić, then 17 years old, won the contest, held in a basement to avoid attack, and therefore the title of #MissSarajevo.

In 1995, Bill Carter's #documentary #movie of the same name was released to #soundtrack #music by #Passengers, featuring some of the most beautiful vocals ever by Luciano #Pavarotti.
