Changing course with #inktober and highlighting artists who inspired me. First off are #Piranesi and #Nolli, who collaborated on a map of #Rome in the 1700s. I have never seen anything quite like it before or since. The map, drawn by Nolli, shows public space as white and private space as black, and Piranesi's drawings on the sides give a sense of the type of architecture found throughout the city.
