Super thankful for every who worked on the #NoOnI campaign to keep our community spaces and let things like the #GreatHauntway on the #GreatWalkway continue to happen.

Stopped by #JFKPromenade to celebrate the win and ran into @zachlipton
Stop by later if you can, there’ll be a celebration at 4, then @johnelliott will play piano at 5

I guess most people I follow are already on my side, but I have been volunteering for:
- #YesOnJ because it is literally the only route to travel on by bike safely from my part of the city, also it's such a great community space
- #NoOnI because of the above and because I was put on the ballot by pro-Trump climate change deniers and also overturns the ocean beach erosion/climate plan for some weird reason
- #YesOnL because I also take the bus and want to continue to do so

These folks remind us why JFK Promenade is so important: taking the cars out of a space opens it to people. Freedom for kids, safe recreation for folks with disabilities, and peace for anyone who wants a respite from cars.
Tomorrow, make your voice heard. Vote. #YesOnJ #NoOnI

@JasonThorne @ravenmc We have a major example of this in San Francisco with #JFKPromenade, which used to be a highway carrying rush hour cut-through traffic.
(But we’re at risk of losing it on Tuesday. #NoOnI #YesOnJ)
There’s also this busy shared-use path that connects Page Slow Street, a popular bike route, to JFK. #SlowStreets #bikesf

My first mastodon post and hopefully my last about the 2022 local SF election:
If you've already voted #YesOnJ and #NoOnI: please share with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers! We did and received so much positive feedback and thanks for reminding friends to vote. 👉🏻 http://CommunitySpacesSF.com/Share-Yes-On-J
“Prop. I would prevent the city from doing any kind of comprehensive sea-level rise planning… Is a slightly faster commute really worth losing one of our city’s most precious beaches?”
Please send this Surfrider Foundation op-ed to your non-activist friends & family in SF. Let them know to vote #NoOnI #YesOnJ. It’s really close 😬

Hope everyone in #SanFrancisco is headed to the #YesOnJ for JFK promenade event today 10-12 by conservatory of flowers! #NoOnI #YesOnL A little moistness is good for your skin & a car-free promenade is good for your community!

Whatever you do, please vote No on I (i). A vote for I will set our parks and climate goals back decades. SF needs to lead on these issues. #NoOnI

The controller estimates $80 Million to throw out the shovel-ready plan that's been 10 years in the making and start anew.

.#SF Voters: @sfchronicle@twitter.com and TNC endorse a #NoOnI vote. Prop I would reverse 10 years of critical coastal climate adaptation planning in #SanFrancisco with a likely cost to taxpayers of over $80 million. @SafeParksForAll@twitter.com

"Brooks loves the freedom to ride his bike.
Given his physical challenges, it's difficult for us to find a place for him to have the opportunity to ride safely and comfortably.
This kind of space is rare, and extremely important to our family.”

What Prop I supporters don't want you to see. A $80m seawall would push tidal energy north & south destroying western facing beaches. ⤵️
There's a reason envir'tal orgs strongly denounce Prop I. Vote No on I.
