One of my #DukinfieldCC clubmates (Phil Cunningham) has just completed All Points North...a HUGE ride from #Sheffield, through the #LakeDistrict, up to the #Scottish border, back down through #Northumbria and then back into #Yorkshire. He's classing this 1000km+ ride as training for the #TransContinental that he's madly got on! Took him four days!

Lowry's House is a small Georgian townhouse located in Berwick-upon-Tweed, It is the former home of the artist, L.S. Lowry, who lived there until his death in 1976.

It is preserved as a museum and is open to the public. Visitors can see some of Lowry's original artworks, as well as personal items. It features a recreation of Lowry's studio, where you can see the materials he used to create his unique style of industrial landscapes.

Belsay Hall is now managed by English Heritage and is open to the public for tours and events. The estate also hosts a number of events throughout the year, including outdoor theatre performances, plant fairs, and Christmas markets.
