All right. So here's an #introduction post. My name is Bracken MacLeod. I'm a #novelist from #NewEngland. Before I became a full-time writer and stay at home dad, I was an attorney, an adjunct university teacher (philosophy), and a martial arts instructor. I've survived car crashes, a near drowning, being shot at, a parachute malfunction, and the bar exam. So far, the only incident that has resulted in persistent nightmares is the bar exam.

I’m seeing introductions. Am I supposed to introduce myself? I’m a #writer (#novelist) and #professor in Texas. I travel to Paris between semesters, though my French is still “merde.” I’m cisgender (she/her), an LGTBQ+ ally, and feminist who believes in kindness and seeing other people as complex and deserving of love; but I’m also still learning how not to carry a grudge. This toot took entirely too much time.
