#NowSpinning Bobbi Humphrey - Satin Doll. This #vinyl record came (sealed) as an “also included” item in an eBay purchase. Knew nothing about it. I have since learned it is FANTASTIC. Sounds like a movie soundtrack for a very particular era of 70s cop films. Think flute jams, muscle cars, and morally lenient cops that put that magnetic siren on the roof of their sedan before the big chase scene.

For my money, a far superior album to Shoot Out The Lights despite universal acclaim to the contrary. Both husband & wife deliver sensational performances of a first rate set of some of Richard's most expressive songwriting.
