I fervently hope this scenario is true.

For those who have been following the curious surveillance circling over Oklahoma City and the addition within the last couple of days of companion C-130Js from Canon Air Force Base, Clovis NM.

I was busy yesterday and just got around to taking a look at the C-130 that was circling yesterday afternoon. One, he's got a bit of flap hanging out, I assume so he can cruise at a lower speed and Two - he's a gunship! 😱

Busy day over the Oklahoma City Metro. Two surveillance Nomads, a Judge, and, back by popular demand, the C-130J are circling like crazy.

I hope all this frantic activity is either training or in preparation for neutralizing beaucoups of Sooner bad guys post haste.

Threading its way through all the congestion, a KC-46 works the Will Rogers World Airport pattern on an unusually long leash.

The humming became more noticeable. I pulled out my iPhone and discovered a C-130J out of Canon AFB, Clovis NM, had joined him. He was circling at the more customary 14000’. Neither of them were creating the perfect circles I have come to expect.

Most of me believes these daily flights are training. If not, and the speculation these are actual surveillance missions is true, Oklahoma City must be a hotbed of bad guys.
