The way I see it, the UK #Tory government is a loser either way with the #NursesStrike.

If the #RCN gets anything close to the rise they are asking, the Tories lose face and open the door to other public pay rises. If the nurses are forced back to work with the current pay offer, the #NHS will continue to be in crisis, and attrition among staff will accelerate

Nurses deserve fair pay for their work. I support striking nurses, I support striking workers.

I was in last May. I have many stories from my 12 day stay about how important the nurses were.

1. The Nurse who put a line in my arm in A&E, clocked me as autistic, she showed me that the cannula was bendy. I'd only given blood before, so thought I'd have an inch long needle in my arm for hours.

We talked about sci-fi and her son who was also ASC. I felt better.
